Emmeline loves to turn her head to the right- as shown in the picture above. So, we're working on having her sleep with her head turned to the left for a few nights. I was expecting her to fight it - but she slept for 5 hours straight. It was awesome. We also need to start doing tummy time with her. We'll see how that goes.Wednesday, November 12, 2008
Right side, left side
Emmeline loves to turn her head to the right- as shown in the picture above. So, we're working on having her sleep with her head turned to the left for a few nights. I was expecting her to fight it - but she slept for 5 hours straight. It was awesome. We also need to start doing tummy time with her. We'll see how that goes.

Oh wow--she looks so alert! Welcome back to the land of blogging. Isn't it crazy what a time suck newborns are? I swear that first month is a total time warp.
About the H-F-M virus, Henry prob. picked it up from another kid. It's super contagious, and the first symptom is a runny nose (not helpful!), so most kids are exposed before the parent of the sick kid even know it. The worst part was the mouth sores. Poor kid couldn't eat a thing. :(
