Happy Birthday Stacey!!!

Today is Stacey's 30th birthday! We’ve been through some crazy times together: high school (scary enough on it’s own), Philly (where I think we started a witches coven one drunk late night, dated 40 year olds, and partied every night), and DC (bought our first homes, and partied a lot until we both got pregnant).
We’ve celebrated every birthday together for the past 4 years and I wouldn’t have had it any other way!

Thanks for being such an amazing friend and for giving me some of the best memories of my life!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!

33 Weeks

Craig snapped this photo while I was peaking on our neighbors, haha. Well, I’m 33 weeks now and feeling really great. That stubborn baby Brugger is currently breached so we’re hoping it moves soon. It seems like this baby’s favorite hobby is to stretch out and push its little head as far up by my right ribs as it can get. Sometimes it’s such a big bump on my belly that we can basically cup the head in our hand. It’s amazing and scary all at the same time.

Nursery Art

Craig spent most of Sunday putting together the art for the nursery. I have had the prints for some time and just recently picked out frames and matting with my mom. Craig did a great job putting them all together and even though the nursery isn't ready - I can't wait to get these up! The pictures didnt come out so great due to glare from the glass - but you get the idea, right?

Baby P Pictures

Isn't he just so handsome!!!
I'm curious now to see what I'm having. Either way - they are going to be best friends - or maybe even get married. hahaha

It's a boy!!!

At 1:01 am this morning Stacey gave birth to a beautiful little boy. I'll let her reveal the name (it's so cute, I just love the name) He was 7 lbs 1 oz, and 20 inches long and seriously one of the cutest little babies ever!!! Pictures are soon to follow.

3rd update on baby P

So, it's now 6:10 and Dr. Mazal just came in. Stacey is right around 9 cent. dilated so the dr. will come back in a couple hours and by then stacey should be ready to push for sure. I'll update again when baby P is born.

2nd baby P update

Stacey is doing great! She got an epidural around 12:30 and feels really good. She is about 5-6 cent. dilated and is expecting to start pushing around 7:00 pm tonight. I'll keep you all updated.

Baby P Update

Stacey's water broke this morning around 5:30am. I am now at the hospital with her and she's doing great. They are going to be giving her pitocin to speed things up and hopefully by 7:00 tonight that sweet little baby will be here. We are so excited to meet this baby. I'll keep you all updated throughout the day.

Banana Bread

I decided to make my mom's banana bread this morning. I had ripe banana's and some time on my hands so why not, right? Well - I consider myself an ok cook but I have never been a successful baker.
In the end the outside edges seemed to get kind of dark but overall it tasted pretty good. Not nearly as good as my mom - but not bad at all.
I ended up eating half a loaf with three cups of decaf tea for breakfast. I probably shouldn't have made it at all.

Nashville

Well, I'm on the first of my last three trips for work! Woohoo - I got to Nashville early this morning and I'll be leaving tomorrow night. I wont get to see much of the city - oh well, I'm just glad its a quick trip. Traveling is even more exhausting while preggers.

I tried uploading a picture of downtown nashville - but it doesn't want to work.

My DC Baby Shower

First let me just say thank you to Stacey, Erin, my mom and my mother in law for such an amazing shower. Stacey put so much work into it; making it just perfect. I really appreciate all you did to make it so special. Thank you!

Here is most of our little crew of friends. We are missing Michelle, Betsy, and Danielle.(We missed you guys!)
I am so lucky to have such great friends – thank you all so much for coming to the shower, for you generosity and just for being such awesome people that I get to be friends with!!!
I love that the baby food container is in this picture. Wow - are our lives really changing. From all night Halloween and New Years Eve parties to diapers and early nights. It’s all worth it though and by Christmas we’ll have 9 babies in the mix.
Thanks Mom for flying up from Florida to be with me and Lyn for Driving from Erie alone with 3 kids!!! Thank you Alissa for flying in from Chicago and mom and dad Brugger for driving in from Erie! It would not have been the same without you all there.

Last Thursday (Late posts)

Last Thursday night our families came into town and we picked up pizza and headed to the park for a free concert. We had a great time - but it was quite a differrent experience compared to when Stacey, Grey, Craig and I would go with 4 bottles a wine and go home with them all empty in the recyclable bin.
